Online “Brain Games” Elementary School Team Triathlon Kicks Off December 2016

Evan-Moor co-hosts “Brain Games” online event with prizes for students and teachers.

LOS ANGELES, (November 3, 2016) — BoniO Inc., the innovative gamification start-up behind the award-winning multi-subject online learning platform PaGamO, invites all 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students to participate in the first-ever online “Brain Games” team triathlon.

On December 5–9 student teams of three will compete against one another online in the “Brain Games” to answer Common Core–aligned math, science, and English questions. The teams will face off on a virtual island, answering questions correctly to build and strengthen their territories. Winners will be determined by the number of lands required and number of questions answered correctly. This not only promotes healthy competition and encourages teamwork, but also teaches 21st century skills in an academic setting.

Co-hosted by Acer, Intel, and Evan-Moor, the PaGamO Brain Games are offering prizes worth over $25,000. Student participation awards include certificates and a 30-day free trial of Evan-Moor online question sets in PaGamO.

The competition will also award students with 21st century devices! The 1stprize–winning team of each grade level will receive three Aspire V15 Nitro computers, worth around $1,000 per laptop. The 2nd and 3rd prize–winning team of each grade will each receive three Switch V 10 Acer notebooks. Three Chromebooks will be given to the winning teams of each grade level in the 4th and 5th ranking.

Encourage your school to participate; you may win devices for your students schoolwide! The three schools with the most participants will receive 40 FREE Chromebooks, a comprehensive customized PaGamO Esports event, and the PaGamO Premium Analysis Report for participants in their school.

Teachers are encouraged to register 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. Those who sign up more than seven teams of three students will be eligible to win a Chromebook. Registration opens September 27 on bit.ly/braingames2016.
