It's an awesome book and multileveled for differentiated instructions

I have used several units from this resource to complement my Science instruction. I was so happy to be able to cover Language Arts objectives during Science. Two for
the price of one!

loved the format of vocabulary, fill in the blank and cross word puzzles, and matching.

With the implementation of CCSS and cross curriculum instruction, this book would be very valuable to complete this task without stressing out.

I bought this book because I knew that after the birth of our fifth child, I would need time to recover so I decided I would focus on math and phonics/grammar and history. Evan-Moor's Read and Understand Science 2-3, is basic science curriculum that gives a good understand of every aspect of science without being overwhelming (meaning I have to stop and explain something every few seconds). So I bought the e-book, printed, hold punched and put it into a binder. Then I print copies of the worksheets and told the children to take turns reading and then help each other through the worksheets. They did this 2-3 times a week and enjoyed it very much. For us, this was an opportunity for them to teach themselves and show them how they can work together to learn. It was step toward indepenant studying - which they will need to learn to do. good for practicing Common Core - non-fiction reading

I use it for homework. It's great for reviewing the concepts we are currently learning. :)
