I do enjoy this book and it is a good center activity for my special needs students. We review this in small groups and the sections keeps them engaged.

Encouraged discussions when students applied a variety of ways to reach an answer for math related situations. Encouraged discussions about inferences and following directions.

I want to get the next level for my private ESL student. Though she is in second grade, she is ready for Grade 4 material.

Great for extending skills in a fun way. Especially for the fast finishers. I simply make a practice pack of the skills we have done. Now they have seat work when they finish with an assignment.

I use this book for early finishers. The activities are a great way to get my students thinking in a new way.

good resource

I use this product as a conversation starter in my ESL classes. This book is great for young children, the subjects are easy and young students can relate to them.

Only found it useful towards the end of the school year. ESL populations need added scaffolding and given the amount of curriculum required while interesting I only used it at the end of the year to supplement certain activities.
