I can not recommend this book for older students. It uses pictures and words not suitable for the age group.

It's very interesting

Haven't used it yet, but I am extremely hopeful.  My 5th graders are way below grade level in reading and language.  Many are missing the understanding phonics foundation needed for successful decoding and comprehension.  It is hard to find materials for upper elementary that are not too "babyish" but will give them the skills they are missing.  I am relying on this product to help me as well.  I learned to sight read, and never really learned phonics myself.  So I need this to support my learning as I support my kids' learning.

Evan Moor products are excellent. Our Team uses many of the resources to supplement our curriculum!

I love this book. I use it every day with my first graders. It is a great resource for the phonics skills they struggle with. The worksheets make it exciting for the students to learn phonics. I highly recommend these books for all grades.

I am so glad I bought this and only wish I had bought it sooner. It really works well at breaking down different phonics skills and is helping me pinpoint where my students are struggling.

I use this for my granddaughter to help strengthen her spelling skills. She loves it. Wish I had ordered teacher edition.

I'm really happy with this program! I use it for my son who is in Gr.2, as well as my daughter who is in Gr.4 and struggles with phonics.

This book is a very helpful resource for phonic support.

These books practically do my tutoring job for me! I was concerned about having to learn the material I was going to tutor but these books make it to easy!

I teach 5th grade in an inner city school. Most of my students are not fluent readers. I bought a set of student workbooks last year for my students---what a spectacular difference it made! This book is now a "must use" in my classroom. My language arts benchmark scores grew substantially and I attribute most of it to this book, used in conjunction with the spelling workbook.

Great supplement to my Intervention program. I use the Phonics with my 1st thru 3rd graders.

I use this everyday in a small group learning center with my Special Education students all of which are on the Autism Spectrum. The visual supports coupled with the limited items and verbiage on the page, make this an ideal curriculum support for students with ASD.

I don't use this daily, it gets dull. Good for review or ELL students.

I use this product daily in my special day class for children with autism. The product is great for reviewing learned skills with students. The only problem is that there aren't enough weeks that correlate with the school year.
