However, students in the United States have lagged behind other countries in terms of science, technology, engineering and mathematical achievements in the classroom. STEM educational activities and programs introduce students to these disciplines through fun, innovative hands-on activities like robotics, coding and more. The earlier students are exposed to STEM programs the better! When kids start STEM activities in preschool, by the time they reach middle and high school, the once fearful, difficult subjects don’t seem as menacing.
