David C. Miller, CPA Joins Evan-Moor as Director of Finance

Miller to Manage Revenue and Infrastructure Growth of Education Publisher.

MONTEREY, CALIF. (June 4, 2007) Evan-Moor Educational Publishers, a leading publisher of learning materials for kindergarten through sixth grade, announces that David C. Miller, CPA, has been named the company's Director of Finance. Mr. Miller will direct all financial responsibilities, supervise purchasing, human resources, IT, and legal activities, and participate in administrative planning. He has eighteen years of fiscal experience in the education market.

"David's expertise and success in strategic financial planning and analysis in education markets will add great value to the company," says Evan-Moor CEO Bill Evans. "His appointment to this key position will assist in continued revenue growth and efficiency of the company. We look forward to his leadership and contribution to our infrastructure."

Miller joins the company from Gareth Stevens, Inc., an international children's book publisher where he worked as Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Gareth Stevens is a division of WRC Media. His prior experience includes work at Arthur Young & Company. He will relocate to Monterey from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Miller will lead the economic development of the Company and report to Evan-Moor's President Linda Hanger.
