Evan-Moor's Daily Language Review Now Available in Consumable Student Practice Books
Best-selling title is now a time and money saving resource for teachers
MONTEREY, CALIF. (May 3, 2005) - Since mastery of language skills is critical to success across the curriculum, it's no wonder that Daily Language Review is the best-selling resource produced by Evan-Moor Educational Publishers. Available for grades 1–6, Evan-Moor estimates that one out of every four teachers nationwide uses the reproducibleDaily Language Review resources in the classroom.
But now the many teachers using the Daily Language Review titles will be able to save both valuable classroom time and money with a new consumable version of the series. The consumable student practice book allows teachers to continue providing students with the same targeted skill practice, but in a format that saves money and teacher time spent to reproduce the activities for each student.
"With so many teachers using Daily Language Review, we wanted to offer those teachers an even better value," said Bill Evans, CEO of Evan-Moor. "By offering a consumable version of Daily Language Review, we can save teachers the duplicating money and time spent at the copy machine, not to mention collating, stapling and organizing each student's weekly unit."
A resource that provides skill practice for every day of a 36-week school year, Daily Language Review addresses the critical grade level language skills that students need to master. Each day's worth of skill practice takes only a few minutes to complete. The Daily Language Review series is also correlated to state standards and provides an excellent medium to help students prepare for standardized testing.
Teachers have found the format of Daily Language Review to be highly successful in helping students practice key concepts such as sentence editing, grammar, reference skills, vocabulary, punctuation and word study skills.
"Daily Language Review was responsible for raising our SAT 9 scores to their highest level ever for fifth grade," noted Penny Zarett, fifth-grade teacher in Bellflower, Calif. "The entire fifth and sixth grade staff is now using it."
