Evan-Moor has implemented a new policy for all international web orders, outside of the US/ Canada. Due to the recent regulatory updates in international e-book distribution and fraudulent credit card use, we will place a temporary hold on these orders for review. We hope to limit such holds to 24 business hours. While we understand that this may cause some inconvenience, please rest assured that this measure is necessary to maintain the highest standards of service for all our customers.
What does this mean for you?
If you are located within the US or Canada, there will be no impact on your ability to purchase e-books or other physical products through our website. All web orders from customers within these countries will continue to be processed as usual.
If you are an international customer, you may still order EM products as usual on our website. However, there will be a temporary hold period for our review of your purchase. You may receive an e-mail from our customer service department related to this hold. Once your transaction is reviewed, the hold will be released and your payment will be completed. You will then have immediate access to e-book purchases, or if print product was purchased, it will be released to ship. If there is any problem with your order, you will be contacted by e-mail. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary hold may cause and thank you for your understanding and patience.
