How can I download my e-book?
To download an e-book simply visit our e-book pickup page and follow the step-by-step directions of the download process:
- Click the Download button next to your e-book.
- Save your e-book to a safe place on your hard-drive.
- Launch Acrobat Reader and open your e-book.
NOTE: To download and view Evan-Moor e-books, you need to have the current version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer. If you don't have Adobe Reader, click here to get it free.

When I try to view an e-book, free lesson plans, or clip art with Adobe Reader, I get an error. What should I do?
Your computer is using an old version of Adobe Reader. To download the newest version, please click here.

My e-book has finished downloading, but I can't find it. What do I do?
When you download an e-book, the electronic file is saved to the location indicated by your computer's browser. If you cannot remember where you saved your e-book, or are unable to locate your e-book on your computer, you can search for the file using the "find files" (Windows) or "Sherlock" (Mac) application.
All e-books are named by their EMC number and are PDF files. For example, Daily Math Practice, Grade 2 is EMC 751. The file is therefore named 0751.pdf. This is the filename you would use to search for the e-book.
If, after searching your computer, you still cannot find your e-book you may download another. Simply visit the e-book pickup page or the Download E-books section of your account. E-books are availalbe for download 30 days after the date of their purchase. If the download period has expired, you may purchase another e-book for 75% off the original price.

When I open my e-book, I get a dialog box that says the file is damaged. What do I do?
If your e-book is damaged, there may have been an interruption in the downloading process that caused the file to corrupt. To download your e-book again simply visit the e-book pickup page or the Download E-books section of your account.
If, after downloading a second time, your e-book is still damaged, please report the problem and a customer service representative will research the matter and contact you with a solution within 24 hours.

My e-book download period expired. What can I do?
Evan-Moor e-books are availabe for download up to 30 days after their purchase date. If the download period has expired, you may purchase another e-book for 75% off the original price.
To repurchase an e-book follow these easy steps:
- Log in to your account by going to www.evan-moor.com, clicking on the Log In link located in the top right corner, and entering your email address and password.
- Under Order Information select Download E-books.
- Locate the book you would like to repurchase under E-book History and click on the Add to Cart button.
- The step-by-step directions at checkout will guide you through the process of filling out the required information.
- After completeing checkout, proceed to the e-book pickup page to download your e-book.

My computer crashed and I lost my e-book. Can I replace it?
An e-book is an electronic version of an Evan-Moor title you can download to your computer. Once you purchase an e-book, just as if it was a printed book, you become responsible for its safe keeping.
However, with an Evan-Moor.com account, you may repurchase an e-book at any time for 75% off the original price.
To repurchase an e-book follow these easy steps:
- Log in to your account by going to www.evan-moor.com, clicking on the Log In link located in the top right corner, and entering your email address and password.
- Under Order Information select Download E-books.

How long will my e-book take to download?
The amount of time it takes to download an e-book depends on the speed of your internet connection and the size of the file. To get an approximate download time of an Evan-Moor e-book, simply visit the detail page for the e-book you would like to purchase and select About this title. An approximate download time for dial-up and broadband internet connections will be available.

Do I download multiple e-books together or separately?
All e-books must be downloaded individually. However, you may view all of your e-books that are available for download from the e-book pickup page or the Download E-books section of your account.

What is an interactive e-book?
Every Evan-Moor e-book can be projected on a whiteboard, but now select titles marked as Whiteboard Interactive have been specially designed and modified to make them interactive!
What does Whiteboard Interactive mean? It means you and your students can navigate through a worksheet similar to the way you would navigate through a web page or computer program. If you're working on a fill-in-the-blank question, just click on the blank and type in the answer. Or, if you're working on a multiple-choice question, just click on an answer and a checkmark will appear.
Whiteboard Interactive e-books are great tools for completing activities with the entire class. Not only do they capture and hold students' attention, the activities can be used again and again! That's because when you exit the program, all your answers are automatically cleared.

What is an enhanced e-book?
An enhanced e-book is an electronic version of an Evan-Moor title that you can download to your computer and use in your classroom today. Enhanced e-books allow teachers to take the text of an Evan-Moor resource book, and apply it to the technological tools that help students learn in the 21st-century classroom.
Unlike regular e-books that are encrypted so the content can't be removed, enhanced e-books' content can be extracted and repurposed for use with a variety of digital formats. They give you the freedom to rotate pages, copy and paste the text of each page into multiple programs, or take a snapshot of a page and copy and paste the content as an image.
Enhanced e-books allow you to select and extract the content you want in order to:
- post lessons, tests, or answer keys on a class website;
- make additional PDFs to share with students working from home;
- create a PowerPoint presentation; and more!
